Guild of Guardians and The Sandbox partner to bring the metaverse to gaming NFTs
Guild of Guardians is delighted to announce a unique partnership with The Sandbox where we will be building out the Metaverse, and releasing characters which can be played across BOTH universes.
The Metaverse is a collective virtual shared space, created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual space, including the sum of all virtual worlds, augmented reality, and the Internet.
Ready Player One is coming sooner than we had imagined.
One day, you will be able to explore a massive open world galaxy, party at a metaverse club, race collectible cars and fight evil orcs in dungeons, all while using the same NFT digital collectibles across all platforms.
We’re taking an exciting first step towards this vision by allowing certain Guild of Guardian heroes to also be playable in The Sandbox! Now you can build your dream team within Guild of Guardians, but also run around in The Sandbox as your favourite hero!
What can I get?
We have assigned 3 Heroes which will exist across the metaverse. These are Lia (Legendary), Miera (Epic) and Varik (Rare).
There will be a limited number of these NFTs that will exist in The Sandbox! These will be distributed randomly to anyone who is eligible at the end of the founder sale for free.
- 100 Sandbox Lias (Legendary)
- 300 Sandbox Miera (Epic)
- 1000 Sandbox Varik (Rare)
How can I be eligible?
In order to be eligible you need to:
- Summon one of the three ‘metaverse’ heroes in the Guild of Guardian founder NFT sale; AND
- Have an account at https://www.sandbox.game/en/ which is linked to the SAME wallet in which you purchased your Guild of Guardians NFT
From there, the team at The Sandbox will airdrop the Sandbox-equivalent hero NFTs to randomly selected wallets. Each of the ‘metaverse’ Guild of Guardians NFT gives you 1 chance in the draw.
Anything else I should know?
- The Sandbox equivalent NFT asset, and the Guild of Guardian Hero(s) that you summoned in our Founder Sale will be two separate NFTs.
- We’ll explore more ways for interoperability in the future.
